Self Taught Artist
For me the most important factor with artwork is TITLE and IMAGE. Title is important because the title directs the viewer with AN intention of the artwork. Image equally supports the title.
My desire when someone views the work is for a silent conversation to take place between the viewer and the artwork.
Duality of words is also an important factor, this is partly but not solely what leads viewers to come to different conclusions for the same artwork. This has been my experience when asking people "What do you see"?
The viewers ultimate perception of what they see does become the paintings ultimate truth for them.
I find differences of opinion a stimulating factor as an artist for many reasons, one of the greatest reason is that it provides me with insight into the viewers world and also stimulation for further exploration of my future work.
My Work Relates To The Experiences Of Being Human.
My intention is touch EVERYONE who views the work. There are no right or wrongs, just differences in regards to peoples personal life experiences, perceptions and growth.
My Genre is Expressionism.
