I am a self-taught painter of dubious talent. I became serious with my painting around 20 years ago and IâÂÂve worked hard to improve my work. I have struggled in my time but I have taken my inspiration from artistâÂÂs far more talented than me who struggled through far more adversity than myself and just kept on painting. \r\nIâÂÂm always looking to capture the soulàof whatever I paint, that something that connects me with the picture. It doesnâÂÂt matter what the scene is: landscape, people, an object, as long as IâÂÂve captured that invisible quality that made me want to paint it in the first place. \r\nI have painted many different mediums such as, charcoal, water based paints, and acrylics. I love to paint with oils now and I\'m always looking for something new to paint. \r\nIâÂÂm a big fan of Impressionism and you will see this influence in many of my works. \r\nI\'m currently working on a number of paintingsàI hope to have finishedàsoon.àI hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I have creating them. |
