Bonny Hut Art Resume

• Obtained a Certificate 4 in Graphic Design from Centec, South Africa in 1994
• Obtained a National Diploma in Fine Arts from the Durban University of Technology in South Africa  in 1997
• Started the Alchemy School of Art in Melbourne, Australia in 2001.  Managed it until 2011 where she taught over a thousand people to paint and draw. Some of her students have now become established artists in their own right. The art school website is still online:  www.MelbourneART.org
• Opened the Esoteric Gallery in Melbourne, Australia in 2004 and ran until 2010.  Bonny had successful annual solo exhibitions at her own gallery during this time and curated 20 group shows as well as many other artistic events such as plays and her well known “Red Velvet Carnival.”
• The gallery and art school were a great success but Bonny found that they left her with very little time to paint so she eventually closed them to follow her dream of painting full time.
• Most recent solo exhibition was held at the Collingwood gallery in November 2011.
• Bonny published her first book (published in the U.S.A) called “Explorations of the Mirror” in 2012. It’s a 66 page book of her oil paintings and poetry, available on Amazon.
• Bonny published her first film, called “Learn to paint in Oils with Visionary Artist, Bonny Hut” in 2012. It is also available on Amazon.
